Gneiss is a type of metamorphic rock. It is formed by high-temperature and high-pressure metamorphic processes acting on formations composed of igneous or sedimentary rocks. Gneiss forms at higher temperatures and pressures than schist . Gneiss is distinguished from other rocks because of the bands inside, which are due to the non-uniform distribution of the minerals during its formation, and therefore the bands differ in width. In suitable conditions, gneiss can be recrystallized into granite.
Gneiss is said to help one face unpleasant situations with calm and peacefully wait for the transformation of your life. Gneiss helps you recognize and give up bad habits and unhelpful behaviours. The wavy pattern is similar to records hence giving you your voice back that was set at the foundation of the earth.
